Abjan obtained his Engineer’s Diploma (Master’s Degree) in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Delft, with the specialism in Structural Hydraulic Engineering

Since then, he has worked as a Geotechnical Consultant in the technical design departments of large building construction companies, with involvement in a range of tendering and implementation projects both within the Netherlands and abroad. These projects include complex construction pits in urban surroundings, foundations (for high-rise buildings and bridges), large-scale projects for public transport infrastructure, waterside quay walls and two aqueduct structures, and the foundation of offshore wind farms. He has also developed experience in geohydrology and has undertaken work in the area of (Structural) Hydraulic Engineering.

Abjan is a Partner and Senior Consultant Geotechnics in INGEO2.

Abjan is client-oriented with a strongly analytical mind, which enables him to rapidly get to the core of a practical design.
